PROFILE: BROOKE BORISOFF
Things that make me smile, touch my heart or I just love - by Brooke Borisoff, West Coast Director of Roseark . . . ....
I grew up playing competitive tennis. it was a huge part of my life and taught me so many important lessons: winning humbly, losing gracefully, traveling the world, handling pressure, how to push and challenge myself mentally and physically... Today, being active, sweating, embracing my inner-athlete, is when I feel my best.
Seductive, independent, feisty, aloof. They all have such distinctive personalities. They intrigue and amuse me. I adopted Bailey from the pound as a baby, she is my little love.
Colors, scents, life, creating, growing, renewing....Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best, "The Earth laughs in flowers."
When they fly, they seem so peaceful and free, both characteristics I try to incorporate into my everyday life. Wearing Kathy Rose Eagle Jewelry is a beautiful reminder of that.
Tim Walker, Steven Meisel, Ellen Von Unwerth, Terry Richardson, Arnaud Pyvka....all are great examples of people not afraid to take risks or run rampant with their imagination and creativity. I admire that.
I was a water baby growing up, I dreamt of being a mermaid. I love the sun, the saltwater, the way my hair dries when I get out of the ocean, the way the air smells when I get close to the coast. It brings me peace of mind and makes me think of home.
